Postnatal Depression (PND)

Postnatal depression is a type of depression some women experience after having a baby. It can develop anytime in the first year after giving birth.

PND is more common than people realise; it can affect 1 in 7 mothers anytime in the first year after giving birth. While the exact cause is still unknown, there is a lot that can be done to help and the quicker a Mother receives help the faster she will recover.
